Whitney Caudill, Founder
Through personal passion and leadership, Whitney is working diligently to ignite and encourage local communities to work together to end the drug epidemic. Motivated by the desire to see all people discover their purpose in life, she is focused on creating life changing opportunities for the glory of God and the good of others.
Whitney has over four years of experience working in the criminal justice system within several investigation units. Her work with Children Services quickly opened her eyes to the drug epidemic in Greene and Montgomery County. She has undergone extensive training in trauma informed care, addiction recovery, and the neurological effects of drug abuse. Whitney graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, concentrated in the Analysis of Criminal Behavior.

Sandi Wagner, MSW, LSW, Co-Founder & Executive Director
Sandi is a licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio and has experience working with children and families, mental health, and geriatric social work. Sandi and Whitney founded Her Story after seeing the need for substance use treatment for women in the Greater Miami Valley. Sandi is an instructor of Social Work at Cedarville University. Prior to that, she served as a Medical Social Worker and Forensic Interviewer at Dayton Children's Hospital. Sandi lives in Xenia with her husband and is a graduate of Boise State University and Cedarville University, both with degrees in Social Work. She loves dogs, coffee and her husband, Caleb.
Becca Hippenmeyer, MSW, LSW, Clinical Director
Becca is a licensed social worker in the state of Ohio and has experience in child welfare, mental health and administration in non-profit ministry. Becca graduated with a Master’s in Social Work in 2013 from Ohio State University. Becca is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus through meeting basic human needs and using evidence-based practice models. Becca loves living in Xenia with her wonderful husband and sweet baby boy.
Dr. Beth Delaney, Board Chairwoman
Dr. Beth Delaney serves as an associate professor in the Cedarville University School of Nursing, as well as, a Family Nurse Practitioner focusing in the areas of oncology, palliative care, and hospice at Dayton Physicians Network. Prior to teaching, she dedicated over 25 years as a nurse leader at Miami Valley Hospital and The Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center-Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. Dr. Delaney has developed innovative programs that serve patients and their families, as well as, inspiring others to join in the efforts and grow as individuals is her passion. Beth is married to her husband, Pastor Greg Delaney, and has 3 children, Hillary, Samantha, and Ian.
Rick Dodds, Advisor
Rick Dodds serves as the President of Soin Medical Center and Greene Memorial Hospital. Rick has over 13 years of experience in finance, human resources and hospital operations. He previously served as the Administrative Director of Human Resources for Kettering Health for two years.
Cristy Kettering, Advisor
Cristy was raised in the Xenia community and is honored to serve on the Her Story, Inc. Board of Directors. "I am confident that Her Story will meet a critical need in Greene and Montgomery Counties and will have a lasting and positive impact on the women that it serves." Cristy is committed to drawing from her professional training and experience in leadership coaching, business, education, and ministry fundraising and development to support the vision and mission of Her Story. She holds degrees in education, theology, and psychology, serves as the VP of Development at Strong Tower Christian Media and provides leadership ad personal growth development as a John Maxwell Certified Coach, DISC Trainer, and Live2Lead Host. Cristy has been married to Ken Kettering for 44 years. They have 4 married adult children and 11 amazing grandchildren.

Kala Benton, MSN, RN
Chris Bailey, Treasurer
Chris Bailey is the Treasurer of Her Story, Inc. and is a graduate of Wright State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Ohio. Chris has been employed by the public accounting firm, Clark, Schaefer, and Hackett & Co. for more than thirteen years, and specializes in the not-for-profit and affordable housing industries. Chris is also an elected official, serving as the Fiscal Officer for New Jasper Township. He is a board member of the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio and serves as their Treasurer. Chris is a lifelong Greene County resident, currently living in Jamestown with his wife and 3 children.
Charlie Carroll, Advisor
Charlie Carroll is a Dayton-based entrepreneur who runs a number of entities, including Table 33, a fast-casual restaurant; BodyGarage, a regenerative bio boutique; the Miami Valley Life Alliance, a community-wide effort focused on reducing poverty in and around Montgomery County; ASET Corporation, a corporate and executive security firm; and City Church, a 10+ year old non-denominational church in the heart of downtown Dayton.
